Options

Which option to book

Your hotel area sets the option and the days you can go. Punta Cana has morning and afternoon trips, while Bayahibe trips leave in the afternoon.

Option Departures
EcoPark from Punta Cana Hotels 9 a.m. and 1 p.m., Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Sat, Sun
EcoPark from a Bayahibe Hotel 1 p.m., Mon, Wed, Fri, Sun
Means: Your hotel sets the option, and a Bayahibe stay means taking the 1 p.m. departure on an operating day.

The catch: The 4-hour visit includes snacks, but lunch and buggy rides cost extra.

The day

How does the day work?

Hotel pickup takes you to Eco Park to meet farm animals and spend time at the river, with a flexible route.

  1. 1
    Arrival at Eco Park

You reach the park by hotel transfer. Walking paths and buses let you move between its activity areas.

  2. 2
    Animal encounters

Farm animals are part of the visit. You can learn about the cattle and try milking a cow.

  3. 3
    Horseback ride

The horse ride takes you through the park's countryside. Rivers and wooded hills form the landscape around you.

  4. 4
    Country house

A traditional Dominican house and sugar mill show how people live in the countryside. The park also has a dog rescue shelter to visit.

  5. 5
    Time at the river

You can take a bamboo raft ride on the river. It's a way to spend some of your park time away from the animals.

  6. 6
    Hilltop lookout

The lookout platform gives you views across the park. You can also visit the swings on the hill near the beehive sanctuary.

The park visit runs for 4 hours with a flexible activity order. Your hotel determines the return drop-off time.

Pickup and meeting point

  • Hotel and time: Your email gives the exact pickup time and a booking reference. Pickup serves hotels in Punta Cana or Bayahibe based on the option you book. Bayahibe resorts pay $10 more, in cash on the bus.
  • Meeting the driver: The designated collection point is your meeting place. You need to be ready there at least 5 minutes before the emailed pickup time.
  • Entry voucher: Bring your voucher to the start of the tour. Entry requires it, and it's valid only for the date and time booked.
  • For the river: A swimsuit and towel are useful for the water activities. Comfortable beach clothes are suitable, and biodegradable sunscreen is recommended.

Before you book

  • Check your pickup address before booking. Collection is limited to hotels in Punta Cana or Bayahibe.

Fit

Is this tour right for you?

Eco Park suits your family if you want several kinds of animal activity within a 4-hour visit. You can add time on the river. It's useful when a horse ride is only part of the plan. Your hotel must be in the pickup area for the option selected.

For a shorter monkey visit, Monkey House VIP takes 2.5 hours from $90 per adult. Rancho Cana Tequila focuses on riding through a working ranch from $99 per adult.

Means: For a Punta Cana hotel, the 9 a.m. option is the pick for starting the park visit in the morning.

Who it's not for

  • Vacation rental guests who require pickup at their door
  • Punta Cana hotel guests who can only go on Friday
  • Travelers expecting lunch within the ticket price

Good to know

Know before you go

Required voucher

You need your mobile voucher to enter the tour. It can't be transferred and only works for the booked date and time. Keep it ready on your phone, since you can't enter without it.

River clothes

Comfortable beach clothes suit the park's outdoor activities. Bring a swimsuit and towel for the river portion. Biodegradable sunscreen is recommended, and a life jacket is included for water activities during your visit.

Hotel pickup only

Hotel transfers serve Punta Cana and Bayahibe. Your email gives the booking reference and exact pickup time. You need to be at the meeting point at least 5 minutes early, so plan around pickup rather than the park's start time.

Meals and extras

Snacks come with the visit, but lunch costs extra. You can pay for buggy rides too. Your ticket doesn't cover photos or souvenirs, so you'll need to budget for those if you want them.

Infant travel

Infant tickets cover ages 0 to 2, with children ages 3 to 12 in the next band. Infants travel on an adult's lap. Check how your young child can join each activity before booking.

Booking and refunds

You can book for 1 to 30 travelers with an adult and use a mobile ticket. You get a full refund if you cancel at least 24 hours before departure. There isn't a refund if you cancel later.

People also ask

  • How much is Marinarium Eco Park from Punta Cana?

The Eco Park outing costs from $90 per adult. Hotel transport and snacks come with your visit, along with a life jacket for the water activities. Lunch and alcoholic drinks cost extra, so the package doesn't cover all your meals or purchases.

  • When does Marinarium Eco Park run from Punta Cana hotels?

Punta Cana departures run at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. every day except Friday. Your hotel's collection happens on its own schedule. Choose the session first, then use the emailed pickup time when planning your morning or afternoon at the resort.

  • Can you visit Marinarium Eco Park from a Bayahibe hotel?

Yes, the Bayahibe option departs at 1 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday, with Friday and Sunday also available. You need to select the option for that pickup area. Bayahibe resorts pay $10 more, in cash on the bus. The Punta Cana timetable doesn't apply to your Bayahibe hotel transfer.

  • How long do you spend at Marinarium Eco Park?

The park visit lasts 4 hours. Its open itinerary lets you move among animal encounters and river activities without a fixed sequence for every station. Your hotel journey has separate timing, so don't use those hours alone to predict your room-return time.

  • Is Marinarium Eco Park a private family outing?

No, this tour can have up to 50 travelers. The limit of 30 applies to one reservation rather than the whole departure. Your family can join the park activities, but booking together doesn't reserve the grounds or transport exclusively for you.
