The day
How does the day work?
Hotel transport brings you to Playa Macao for a lesson split into two surf sessions with a break on shore.

Hotel to beach
The ride takes you from your Punta Cana hotel to Playa Macao. At camp you'll get a surfboard and a rash guard.

Before the water
Beginners spend 15 minutes on safety and sand practice. Experienced surfers enter the ocean after a short assessment of their skills.

First water session
Your instructor stays close in the water. Coaching covers wave choice and how you stand on the board as each learner takes a turn.

Break on shore
There's a break between the two surf sessions. Coconut or purified water and fresh fruit are provided before you go back into the waves.

Second water session
Take the break, then head back into the waves. Coaching continues through the rest of your lesson, with time shared among the learners.
