Route

How does the day work?

The standard route puts a day of park activities between hotel transfers to and from Anamuya.

  1. 60 min
    1. Punta Cana and Bávaro hotels

Your transfer collects guests from selected Punta Cana and Bávaro hotels or assigned pickup points before heading to Anamuya.

  2. 360 min
    2. La Hacienda Park

The group registers on arrival at La Hacienda Park. A safety briefing comes before the activities.

  3. pass by
    3. La Hacienda buggy trails

The buggy circuit follows dirt roads through Anamuya's hills. Curves and muddy sections are part of the drive.

  4. pass by
    4. La Hacienda zip line circuit

Park staff secure your harness before the zip line ride. The cables carry you above the vegetation with views across the hills.

  5. pass by
    5. La Hacienda Quick Jump platform

Quick Jump begins on a raised platform. The activity gives you a brief drop followed by a controlled descent.

  6. pass by
    6. La Hacienda chairlift

The chairlift carries you above the vegetation. This part of the visit gives you views across Anamuya without driving or riding a horse.

  7. pass by
    7. La Hacienda horse trails

Guides lead the horse ride along rural trails. You're on horseback for this part of the park visit.

  8. pass by
    8. Anamuya countryside

The cultural safari introduces coffee and cacao production. The visit also looks at the lives of families in the surrounding communities.

  9. pass by
    9. Anamuya River

The Anamuya River gives you a chance to cool off before the park visit ends. It's a break from the riding activities.

  10. pass by
    10. La Hacienda dining area

The dining break allows time for the Dominican buffet. It costs extra with standard admission.

  11. 60 min
    11. Hotel or pickup point

Your return transfer leaves the park for the hotel or pickup point where you joined the trip.

The standard itinerary allows 6 hours at the park. Transfers take 1 hour each way. The last leg returns you to your hotel or assigned pickup point.

Pickup and meeting point

  • Accommodation details: A hotel booking isn't required for collection. Guests staying elsewhere can send their address after booking so a pickup point can be arranged.
  • Timing messages: Your pickup time arrives by email after booking. A further email or WhatsApp message follows 24 hours before the trip.
  • Lobby meeting: Arrive in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before collection. The driver carries a sign and won't wait longer than 5 minutes after the assigned time.

Before you book

  • Children from age 5 use adult tickets, while ages 0 to 4 use infant tickets. Check each child's size against the activity limits.

Fit

Is this tour right for you?

Families with 6 to 8 hours free can spread the day across seven park activities. Your buggy ride is only part of the visit. It's a fit when everyone meets the limits for the activities they want and you can pay separately for lunch.

Hacienda Tuko includes lunch with its ranch activities, from $100 per adult. For a beach visit within 4 hours, DCS's buggy tour costs from $32 per person.

Means: The standard 9 a.m. admission is the pick for the full park program when shared transport suits your group.

Who it's not for

  • Zip line guests with a waist over 42 inches
  • Visitors under 110 cm expecting access to every activity
  • Pregnant travelers or travelers with spinal injuries

Good to know

Know before you go

Activity limits

Some activities require a height of at least 110 cm and a weight no higher than 300 lb. The zip line waist limit is 42 inches. Your admission ticket doesn't override these activity limits.

Driving license

A valid driver's license is needed for the buggies. Children can ride as passengers with an adult if they reach 110 cm. A ticket for a young child doesn't grant access to every activity.

Wet or dirty

Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended and may be required for some activities. Bring a towel and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. A locker is included with your standard park package.

Rain and safety

The park runs in most weather. Unsafe conditions can lead to rescheduling or further instructions from the park. A rainy forecast alone doesn't establish that your excursion has been canceled.

Meeting the driver

Your driver waits no more than 5 minutes at collection. Be in the hotel lobby 10 minutes before your appointment. The driver carries a sign, and your pickup details arrive separately after booking.

Booking terms

This booking accepts 1 to 30 travelers and uses a mobile ticket. Cancellation at least 24 hours before departure brings a full refund. Later cancellation doesn't qualify for that refund.

People also ask

  • Can you drive a La Hacienda buggy without a license?

No, buggy drivers need a valid driver's license. You can participate as a passenger if you meet the safety requirements. Children need an accompanying adult and a height of at least 110 cm to ride.

The VIP option lasts 4 hours with a noon departure. Its private group is capped at 15 guests. Private transport and lunch are included, so your schedule and meal arrangements differ from the standard park visit.

  • When should you be ready for La Hacienda Park pickup?

You need to reach the hotel lobby 10 minutes before the assigned pickup time. The driver waits at most 5 minutes. Keep the email or WhatsApp instructions handy, since your collection time arrives after the initial reservation.
