The day
How does the day work?
Your hotel ride takes you to the zip lines first, then the Coconut House and the monkeys.
- 1
Hotel collection
Your ride to the park uses an open safari truck or coach. Pickup serves selected hotels. You may need to meet nearby if you're staying elsewhere.
- 2
Zipline course
The course crosses the forest on 12 cables. Children aged 6 to 12 finish after the first eight.
- 3
Coconut House
At the Coconut House, you see how coconut oil is made. The visit also introduces daily life in the countryside.
- 4
Monkeyland
You meet and feed squirrel monkeys during a 45-minute visit. You can't use sunscreen or insect repellent before this part.
- 5
Return transfer
Your ride takes you back to your hotel after the park visit. Lunch is part of the outing too.
The full outing takes 8 hours, including the 45-minute monkey visit. Your road time back to the hotel depends on traffic.
Pickup and meeting point
- Hotel collection: Pickup serves most hotels around Bávaro and Punta Cana. Macao and Uvero Alto are covered too. You may need to meet nearby if your hotel isn't on the list.
- Los Corales condos: For a condo in Los Corales, select Playa Turquesa when booking. You'll meet your ride at BAM Market.
- Pickup changes: Keep pickup changes at least 24 hours ahead. The length of your ride depends on the day's traffic.
- Clothing: You need comfortable clothes and closed shoes for the outing. Children must stay with an adult for the whole trip.
Before you book
- Wear closed shoes for the cable course. You can't use sunscreen or insect repellent before you meet the monkeys.
Fit
Is this tour right for you?
This trip suits your family if the children want both activities and can manage an 8-hour day. Each rider must be at least 6 and fit the harness. Children aged 6 to 12 won't ride every cable.
Runners' zipline tour focuses on the cable course from $90 per adult. For a family wanting animal time without harnesses, Monkeyland and plantation costs from $95 per adult.
Who it's not for
- Children younger than 6
- Riders outside 44 to 280 lb or above a 44-inch waist
- Pregnant travelers or those with poor cardiovascular health
- Travelers unable to manage moderate physical activity
Good to know
Know before you go
Riders must weigh 44 to 280 lb, with a waist no larger than 44 inches. These limits apply alongside the age rule. Your child reaching the minimum age doesn't remove the need to meet the harness requirements.
Covered shoes are required for the zipline course. Wear a comfortable pair for the full outing. You must avoid sunscreen and insect repellent before meeting the monkeys, since those products can harm them.
Pregnant travelers and visitors with a cold or flu can't join this combination. Mobility problems also rule it out. The tour requires moderate fitness and isn't recommended for back problems or poor cardiovascular health. Children must have an accompanying adult.
Any change to your pickup needs at least 24 hours' notice. Guests at Los Corales condos can select Playa Turquesa for a BAM Market meeting. That arrangement uses a meeting point rather than a collection at every condo door.
The tour runs in ordinary rain. Extreme weather such as a hurricane or tropical storm can stop it. In that case, you can take a new date or receive a full refund for the canceled outing.
Book for 1 to 30 travelers with an adult. The departure needs a minimum number of guests, but that number isn't stated. You'll receive a mobile ticket. Cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund, with no refund later.

People also ask
- What does the Runners Monkeyland and zipline combination cost?
The combination costs from $130 per adult. Lunch and selected hotel transfers are part of your ticket, along with the activity equipment and water. You don't need a separate Monkeyland admission, but souvenir photos and tips remain extra.
- How old must children be for Runners' Monkeyland and zipline tour?
Children can join from age 6 if they meet the harness limits. Ages 6 to 12 use only the first eight cables. Book with that shorter course in mind, since a child ticket doesn't grant access to all 12 lines.
- How much monkey time is included in the Runners combination?
The monkey encounter lasts 45 minutes within an 8-hour outing. Your day also includes the zipline course and the Coconut House visit. The longer duration leaves room for lunch and hotel transport, rather than hours of continuous animal contact.
- Does the Runners Monkeyland combination have an afternoon departure?
A midday option runs Monday to Saturday, alongside the daily 7 a.m. option. Choose the morning for a set start time. For the midday trip, arrange your pickup before you plan the rest of your day.
- Is the Runners Monkeyland and zipline combination a small group?
The full tour can take up to 90 travelers. You can book for no more than 30 at once. You'll share the activities and transport with other guests, so a booking for your party doesn't make this a private outing.
