How does the day work?
The course moves from the pool to the ocean. You're certified when you finish it.
- 1

You fill in a health form before you dive. Some health problems need a doctor's note first.
- 2
Pool practice
Your instructor teaches the basics through pool dives at a private resort in Bávaro. You practice before moving into the ocean.
- 3
Ocean training
Ocean dives build on what you learned in the pool. You need both to pass.
- 4
Course completion
You get your PADI card when you pass the course. Booking alone doesn't promise it.
You book 2 days, but allow 2 to 3. The van drops you back at the hotels on its route.

- Travelers who aren't fairly fit
Good to know
Know before you go
Children can start at age 10 with an adult on the booking. Students under 15 get the Junior Open Water card when they pass. Paying for the course doesn't earn the card by itself.
Every student fills in a health form. Any yes answer needs a signed doctor's note from the last 12 months. The course isn't advised in pregnancy or with heart problems or a spinal injury.
Bring sunscreen and a snack for the pool and ocean days. Dive gear is supplied, but meals aren't. You pay for the materials on your first day.
SeaPro will contact you before departure if weather stops the activity. Another available date or time can be arranged. Plan room for that change within your stay, while preserving the required gap before flying.
One booking accepts up to 9 people, while the teaching group can reach 10. Your ticket is mobile. Pickup begins 30 to 60 minutes before training, with transfer coverage depending on your hotel.
For this booking, cancellation at least 24 hours before the scheduled start earns a full refund. A later cancellation isn't refundable. That deadline falls before training starts, so it matters when arranging your first course day.
